No. I think people do not have enough money from work like basket making or weaving.

Problems of handloom weavers: 
1. A stiff competition from powerloom and mill made clothes.
2. Mill made clothes are cheaper as they are produced on machines and use synthetic yarn which is cheaper than cotton or silk
3. The weavers also do not get good rates due to middle men’s involvement.
4. Their buyers are spread all over the world and Weavers do not have direct contact with buyers.
5. Fashions changing in the cities fast.
6. Weavers rely on middlemen to know about the designs and getting raw materials like cotton or silk.

1. Baskets made of bamboo and eatha chettu leaves require simple investment.
2. Basket makers are using very few materials mostly made of natural sources.
3. But many plastic industries produce goods like baskets with cheap rates.
4. So the demand for such products has reduced considerably .
b) Handloom weavers in Pochampally:
1. Pochampally Ikkat sarees are world famous.
2. They are high quality silk sarees containing simple geometrical designs and available mostly in three colours and shades.
3. Pochampally weavers face a stiff competition from power loom and mill made cloth.
4. These are cheaper as they are produced on machines.
5. So weavers are not getting much rates for Ikkat sarees.
Thus the lives of basket makers and handloom weavers are getting worse . 
*Why did Polaiah's family come to Hyderabad ? Why does he have no right to vote in Hyderabad ?

1. Polaiah's family came to Hyderabad to sell baskets and earn money.
2. Polaiah lives in a slum which does not have proper drainage, emits foul smell and breeds mosquitoes and flies.
2. The Municipal Corporation officials sometimes evict basket maker families, but they build huts again.
3. Polaiah don't have any proof of identify or proof of residence.
4. In this way Polaiah have been denied voting rights and ration card in this city.
